  • Eco-town consultation for Mid Bedfordshire. Ecotowns are intended to be "new towns which are exemplar green developments of up to 20,000 homes. They will be designed to meet the highest standards of sustainability, including low and zero carbon technologies and good public transport".
     
  • Elstow Garden Villages (The Wixams). This new development will be one  of the largest new communities to  be built in the UK. The Wixams is located just three miles south of Bedford, between the A6 and the B530. The development site is centred around the industrial and storage site, which is commonly referred to as the Elstow Storage  Depot.
     
  • Marston Vale.  Strategy for the Marston Vale.  Includes 15,000 new homes and community facilities.
     
  • NATS - Terminal Control North proposed changes to airspace.  Information about proposals to change routes affecting the Chilterns and Luton area.
