The District and Borough Councils are responsible for many aspects of environmental health including noise pollution (e.g. aircraft noise, burglar alarms, neighbours, pubs and clubs, road traffic, barking dogs etc), environmental pollution (including air quality, contaminated land, water quality, radiation etc) and pests (e.g. stray dogs, dog fouling, wasps and bees).
