Would you like to know more about the National Curriculum and the different Key Stages in a child's education?

files   What is the National Curriculum?

The National Curriculum in England  provides a framework for teaching and learning for maintained schools.

What are key stages?

Each programme of study for age groups 3 to 16 is divided into four Key Stages.  From these Key Stages you can find out what your child is entitled to be taught and to achieve.

  • You can find out more about the National Curriculum and the four Key Stages on the 'Education and Learning' pages of the Directgov website.
