Where can I find the
International Genealogical Index?
-
This index
(compiled by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) is to birth,
baptism, marriage and death/burial records from parish and non-conformist
registers from c.1500 to c.1880. It is not comprehensive. However, it is
being updated regularly as more records are added to the database. The
'International genealogical index' (IGI) is available on the
Internet
and on microfiche in some
Bedfordshire Libraries.
