Public General Acts

Revised versions

  • Official revised versions of Acts in force are on a new web site, the UK Statute Law Database. Please note that the revision is not yet quite complete
  • The revised Acts have any later amendments incorporated into the text, updated at least to the end of 2001
  • If an Act has not been completely updated, you will see an 'Update status warning' at the top of the text of the Act. The warning will link you to a page that lets you search for updates
  • For more details on finding how up-to-date any Act is, click 'Update status of legislation' on the UK Statute Law Database home page
  • For an overview of the database, click FAQ on the UK Statute Law Database home page
