	There are voluntary organisations, often charities, that can actively help you search for people. One of the most well-known is the Salvation Army's Family Tracing Service Please note - an organisation may be able to offer help in some cases but not in others. For example, some non-specialist organisations cannot offer help in cases of adoption.
