• The Ricability site gives you practical unbiased reports  based on independent research carried out by Ricability (the trading name of the Research Institute for Consumer Affairs)

• The Disability Living Foundation also produces the printed DLF Hamilton Directory - a comprehensive guide to equipment, including manufacturers' details and help on how to choose equipment. The DLF Hamilton Directory (otherwise known as the DLF Hamilton Index) is available at Bedford Central Library

• You can find products for hearing impaired people at the web site of the Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID)

• You can find products for visually impaired people at the web site of the Royal National Institute of the Blind (RNIB) and at other sites at Gateway > Visually impaired
