Index to South Midlands Archaeology 1-37
Index of volumes 1 - 37 of South Midlands Archaeology which, until 1983, was known as CBA Group 9 Newsletter. It covers archaeological work in the Group 9 (or South Midlands) Region of the Council for British Archaeology. This comprises the counties of Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire. The journal is taken Bedford Central Library.

Pastscape
This online resource from English Heritages National Monuments Record (NMR) provides an easy-to-use way to find information about many of England's ancient and historical sites, buildings and monuments. The information within PastScape is taken directly from the NMR's national historic environment database containing nearly 400,000 records on the archaeology and buildings of England and its territorial waters. These records contain descriptions of any interesting archaeological details, pictures (where available), and links to maps and aerial photographs on other websites.

Sutton Hoo
Lots of information on Sutton Hoo, a group of burial mounds in Suffolk. Excavations in 1939 "brought to light the richest burial ever discovered in Britain, an Anglo-Saxon ship containing the treasure of one of the earliest English Kings, Rędwald, King of East Anglia." .
