HENLOW is a village and parish, 12 miles south-east from Bedford, in the hundred of Clifton, and diocese of Ely. The population in 1851 was 970, and in 1861 it was 1,011; the number of acres about 2,312. The Church, dedicated to St. Mary, is a very old stone structure, with a tower. The living is a vicarage, in the gift of the Lord Chancellor ; the Rev. H. S. Yates, M.A., is the vicar.
