St. Francesca Cabrini
The Church of St. Francesca Cabrini was built in 1965. St. Francesca Cabrini devoted her life to the services of emigrants.
Contributions for the church came from the local Italian community as well as from many devoted to the shrine of St. Francesca in Rhode Island, USA.
The church cost approximately £45,000 and was consecrated on 28th March 1965. In 1990 the church was re-decorated at a cost of £60,000 to celebrate its Silver Jubilee.
