To Bravely Go
By Jeanette Liddlecote
Wherever there is trouble
A hero's often found,
So many grateful people
Are glad that they're around.
Sometimes they are a stranger
Just passing on their way,
Who saves a situation
And makes somebody's day.
At times they are modest,
And often you will find,
Think nothing of their actions
That others think so kind. Our heroines and heroes
Are ready day and night
To face the utmost dangers
When saving someone's plight.
Because of their quick actions
So many lives are saved,
And not for fame or glory,
No banners need be waved.
So celebrate the heroes
And heroines abound.
Just hope if you should need one
There will be one around.
