We have some wonderful new songbooks coming into libraries over the next few months. Have a look at the list below for some examples. Songbooks can be requested in the usual way from any Bedfordshire library.
"In
Between Dreams" by Jack Johnson
This is a guitar tab version of Jackson Johnson's best-selling 2001 album "In Between Dreams". This songbook gives you the chance to play along with Johnson's beautifully relaxed, folky melodies. This version provides note-for-note accuracy and is approved by Johnson himself.

Music
from the motion picture "Fellowship of the Ring"
This songbook contains selections from the wonderful film adaptation of "The Fellowship of the Ring". There are six pieces altogether, arranged for piano and vocal and with guitar chord symbols. The pieces are suitable for intermediate piano players, with the equivalent grade of 3-5. Why not re-create some of the movie magic in your own home?

"Best
of Metallica"
Twelve of Metallica’s best-known hits are contained in this songbook, arranged for piano, vocal and guitar chords. The book contains versions of, amongst others, Enter Sandman, Nothing Else Matters, Sad But True and the Unforgiven.

"Buena
Vista Social Club"
This is a songbook taken from the collaboration of Ry Cooder with the world famous Buena Vista Social Club band, fronted by Ruben Gonzalez and Ibrahim Ferrer. The album is fantastic, full of passion and beautiful music, and this songbook contains all the tracks from the album, arranged for piano, vocal and also with guitar chords. A classic. "Jane
Austen - The Music"
A really lovely collection of music featuring tracks from the dramatisations of two of Jane Austen’s most well-loved and popular novels, "Sense and Sensibility" and "Pride and Prejudice". This book contains twenty-one solo piano arrangements of themes from the original soundtracks. Each piece has been arranged by Jack Long from the original compositions by Patrick Doyle and Carl Davis. Perfect for piano, or Jane Austen, enthusiasts.
