How many items can I borrow?
You can loan up to 10 items for one week using your library ticket

Can I reserve a title?
Yes you can request CDs from the library catalogue. There is a charge for this service.Can I borrow CDs from Luton Libraries?
Bedfordshire Libraries and Luton Libraries are two separate local authorities working in partnership to provide a joint catalogue, we share a large proportion of our stock. Unfortunately we do not share CDs across the border. If you would like to borrow a CD from Luton Libraries you will need to be a member of Luton Libraries and borrow the item from a Luton Library.Where can I see the stock?

Are there any tips on the care of CDs?
While CDs are in your possession treat them carefully:
- Handle them by the edges
- Use a CD cleaning cloth
- Keep them away from strong sunlight or electromagnetic fields
- Report any damage to staff on return
How does the law affect the loan of CDs?
- Due to music industry restrictions top chart titles are not available to libraries until 3 months after the release date
- You should be aware that it is an offence to make a copy of any recording
even for private use without the written permission of the publisher
Do you still stock cassettes?
- Music cassette stocks have now been phased out of branch libraries however
a small collection is still available through
