What is a Bulk Loan?
This is a long term loan which stays in school for the duration of your subscription, either in the school library or in individual classrooms, depending on the schools own choice. A bulk loan collection can be all fiction, all non-fiction or a mixture of both. Bulk Loan entitlement is 3 or 1.5 books per child, depending on which package your school has subscribed to.
Our Bulk Loan is getting tired/tatty. What can we do?
Every school is offered a Bulk Loan exchange twice a year. The dates for your
school can be found in Dates for your Diary. Just complete the online
Bulk Loan request form indicating
how many books of each category your require and send it to us by the date
specified. We will make up the collection for you and deliver it.
You do not have to take advantage of both offers but we do recommend that you
exchange books at least once a year to replace any old and tatty books or just
to refresh your collection.
Alternatively teachers are always welcome to visit the Centre and exchange books
at any time.
