- Hearts in Beds is a self help group started by people with heart problems (usually angina or a heart attack) to help others in the Bedford Hospital catchment area with the same problems. All ages. Membership fee: £5 per year per household (April-April). You do not need to be a member to benefit from Hearts in Beds and the group welcomes casual enquiries and welcomes non-members to social events. Disabled access.

- Programme of between 3-12 mile walks, some with a theme (birdsong, bats, local history etc.) starting and finishing in Heath and Reach. Whole programme available by email.
